Breaking records​ in the Indian Dutch Cyber Security School

The online mode of the School, imposed by the coronavirus pandemic, brought challenges but also benefits:
  • More than 900 participants from India and The Netherlands have registered to attend the School
  • 20 multidisciplinary lectures by distinguished lecturers will be given during the programme
  • 5 challenges will require the participants solution
  • 6 weeks will be dedicated to the advanced knowledge and active engagement of participants on the field of cybersecurity

Strengthening the Indian-Dutch Security Collaboration

Since October 2015, the Government of Telangana, India, is working closely with The Hague Security Delta from the Hague, The Netherlands, in order to share knowledge on cyber security topics, implement best practices regarding cyber security-related issues, and work closely in combating cyber threats and vulnerabilities that both countries face on a daily basis. The Indian Dutch Cyber Security School aims to further strengthen the Indian-Dutch security relationship through educational activities that enrich Indian students' knowledge on several cyber security themes.

Preparing for the future of cyber security

The Indian Dutch Cyber Security School's programme allows participants to gain deeper knowledge and understanding of cyber security concepts and aspects. During the School, participants will have the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest experts in the field about the latest developments and cutting edge cyber security technologies that exist today and will work on assignments provided by notable Dutch and Indian organizations.

Adjusting to coronavirus

The coronavirus pandemic has made certain alterations in the normal course schedule necessary. The main changes are:
  • Courses will be conducted through online lectures available in the platform of Blackboard
  • Lectures will take place in the span of 4 weeks, so no conflicts can arise with the students' academic schedules
  • Social activities will be suspended
