About The Hague India Cyber Security Summer School 2019
From Sunday June 2 to Friday June 7 2019, the second edition of the The Hague India Cyber Security Summer School (#NICSSS19) took place, in both The Hague, The Netherlands and Hyderabad and Bangalore, India.
The Summer School’s six-day programme allowed participants to gain deeper knowledge and understanding of cyber security concepts and aspects. During their time in the Summer School, participants had the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest experts in the field about the latest developments and cutting edge cyber security technologies that exist today and worked on assignments provided by notable Dutch and Indian organisations. The programme also included social events during which students were given the opportunity to ask questions, to seek career advice from their educators, and to expand their professional networks.
The Hague India Cyber Security Summer School hosted Bachelor's and Master’s students, PhD candidates and young professionals with policy or law-related background. The Summer School in Hyderabad and Bangalore was open to students from India, while in The Hague the Summer School was open to Indian residents residing in India or The Netherlands. Moreover, participants from other countries were given the chance to participate in the Summer School. These participants were either already residing and studying in The Netherlands or were full-time students in India.
